HSAC Regional Adjudication Branch IX conducts Housing Laws Seminar

 The Human Settlements Adjudication Commission - Regional Adjudication Branch IX, in its commitment to public service, conducts the first housing laws seminar entitled "Housing Laws and the Protection of Homeowners' and Homebuyers' Rights on 13 May 2023 in Pagadian City. 

The said seminar was attended by homeowners' association officers and members, real estate developers and agents, law practitioners, and law students. It was the aim of HSAC to equip the participants with extensive knowledge relative to their rights as homeowners and homebuyers. The seminar further aims to safeguard the public from unscrupulous individuals and unsound real estate business practices.

Different topics were discussed by competent speakers from HSAC RAB IX, and other fellow key shelter agencies like the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, National Housing Authority, Pag-IBIG Home Development Mutual Fund, and the Registry of Deeds.

To address distinct housing issues encountered by each participant, an open forum was slated at the end of the said activity. Anent to this, the public was given the chance to raise questions relevant to their respective housing issues and concerns.
